Smile 90.4 FM is a bilingual (English and Afrikaans) adult contemporary radio station, broadcasting to the greater Cape Town Metropole and surrounding areas, including Paarl, Stellenbosch and Somerset West. 

The Ryan O’Connor Breakfast Show is our flagship show with the charismatic and truly Capetonian media star Ryan O’Connor. Ryan’s R 50 000 Noise is the signature competition on the show every morning. Media and TV personality Success Lekabe keeps you updated on traffic with rugby commentator and ex-professional rugby player Ricky Schroeder on sport. The show is fun, engaging and it’s what Cape Town wakes up to.

The workday on Smile FM is filled with music – 50 Minutes of Nonstop Music from 9am to 4pm with Mienke Van Rooyen and Ewan Strydom.

The Joyride with Angel Campey is your best drive home. Award-winning comedian Angel Campey with Eugene Mpatheni and Dean Frederich keep the laughs rolling together with a good dose of your favourite music.

News that Cape Town Needs to Know Now keeps our listeners informed throughout the day with the latest relevant news and how it impacts them. Traffic reports are guaranteed every 15 minutes throughout the peak hours, with sport bulletins in both drive shows.
